Welcome to PlaBla. PlaBla is a plate-based social platform that helps drivers claim a license plate as their identity, discover other plates, connect as friends, and chat in a plate-to-plate context. Please read this document carefully before using the PlaBla mobile application or related services.
By downloading, installing, registering for, accessing, or using PlaBla, you agree to both the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy set out below. If you do not agree, you must not use PlaBla.
By using PlaBla, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy in Part II of this document.
Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use PlaBla. We do not knowingly permit use by anyone under 18. If we learn that a user is under 18, we may suspend or delete the account.
To use PlaBla, you must create an account using a supported sign-in method (such as Sign in with Apple or Google) and provide accurate, current, and complete information. This may include your name, email address, license plate number and country, profile photos, biography, and other profile details requested in the app.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree not to:
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account.
PlaBla allows users to:
PlaBla is intended to facilitate respectful, plate-based social connection. We do not guarantee matches, conversations, friendship acceptance, or any particular social outcome.
Your license plate is a core part of your PlaBla identity. By claiming a plate, you represent that you are authorized to associate that plate with your account. We may verify, suspend, or remove plate claims that appear fraudulent, abusive, or in dispute.
Profile visibility is limited by design: non-friends typically see only basic identity information (such as display name, plate, avatar, and cover). Fuller profile content and messaging are available according to friendship and app rules.
You may submit, upload, transmit, or otherwise make available content through PlaBla, including profile information, photos, voice messages, text messages, social account handles, and other materials ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant PlaBla a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process your User Content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service and enforce these Terms.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and for your interactions with other users.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, sexual exploitation, illegal activity, spam, scams, and abusive or harmful behavior.
You agree not to use PlaBla to:
We may investigate reports, remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users at our discretion.
PlaBla helps people connect in a real-world, plate-based context. You are responsible for your own safety when meeting or communicating with others. We do not conduct criminal background checks on users and do not guarantee the conduct or identity of any user.
Please use caution, meet in public when appropriate, and report suspicious or harmful behavior through the app or by contacting us.
Depending on how you use PlaBla, the app may request access to your camera (for example, to scan a license plate), photo library (for profile and gallery images), microphone (for voice messages), and push notifications. You can manage these permissions in your device settings. Denying a permission may limit related features.
All rights in the PlaBla application, software, design, branding, logos, interfaces, and related materials are owned by PlaBla or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of PlaBla except as expressly permitted by law or with our prior written consent.
PlaBla may rely on third-party services for authentication (such as Apple or Google), hosting, media storage, analytics, notifications, or other operational functions. Your use of PlaBla may also involve third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store or Google Play, which are governed by their own terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to PlaBla at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users or for PlaBla, or if required by law.
You may stop using PlaBla at any time and may request account deletion as described in Part II of this document and within the app Settings.
PlaBla is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlaBla and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of the service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlaBla and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of PlaBla, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice within the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of PlaBla after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where PlaBla operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply.
